To view and print out many nautical charts of the world on-line for FREE, this link will take you to the US NOAA Office of Coast Survey on-line catalog. The number of charts being posted on-line is growing all the time. Select the area of the world from the dropdown list at the top of the page, then zoom in on the map until the chart outline you wish to view is on screen. After clicking on it, select the chart number from the list on the right side of the page and then 'view online.' The following chart sets are available here that will work with many PC chart plotting navigation programs. Two excellent chart plotters that will connect with GPS and that you can download and use free of charge are linked at the bottom of this page.
